The Golden Couple - Book Review

Writer's picture: Vanessa AlcaldeVanessa Alcalde

I wouldn't really classify this as a thriller. This book was more of a suspense and really average for me, given that everything is based on a cheating incident that the wife committed. I found the unlicensed therapist extremely out of place by being obsessed with her clients and a total stalker.

Avery has a 10-session method that has been highly successful in the past and has taken Matthew and Marissa as clients. The story feels a bit fake as the unprofessionalism is non-stop but hey, she has to make their relationship work.

There were a few twists but besides that, very average for me.
