Just to put it out on the table, this book is suspense-driven and the writing was smooth plus the narrator put the cherry on top making the story even more chilly. Though I should mention that there are massive red flags that can't be ignored and the main character seemed a bit foolish for not realizing that but at the same time she suffers from anxiety and takes strong pills that cause foggy memory, etc, I just don't agree with certain turns the story took.
Nevertheless, I was never bored listening to this story and I think it's because of the narrator who gives a wonderful aspect to this thriller. I loved the WTF-type ending but felt halfway through the middle of the story that it was going to deviate to a different route.
